What You Can Expect
An internship is a working placement, not observation alone.
Courtroom Observation
Regular opportunities to sit in court and watch hearings and argument take place, in the District Judge's Court at Barasat and other forums.
Direct Mentorship
Work alongside the advocate handling the file, with questions encouraged and answered directly rather than deferred indefinitely.
Drafting & Research
Real drafting work — notices, petitions, plaints and written submissions — plus the research that has to support it.
Certificate & Assessment
A completion certificate, and an honest assessment of your progress suitable for a future application or pupillage.
